About Katherine Randolph in St. Louis, MO

Meeting You Where You Are

As a therapist, I don’t see myself as someone who “fixes” you. Instead, I am your guide, your accountability partner, and sometimes the first person who helps you see that real change is possible. I meet you where you are — in the middle of the stress, the anxiety, the overwhelming emotions — and help you begin the process of healing.

Many of my clients come to me struggling with depression, anxiety, and the weight of poor communication in their relationships. Often, they feel like life is just happening to them, like they’re stuck in a loop they didn’t choose and can’t control. One of the most powerful parts of our work together is realizing that you do have control. And you don’t have to do it alone.

I’ve been told that talking with me feels like opening up to a friend, but one who understands where you’re coming from and has the training and tools to help you get to where you want to go. I’ll reflect back what I see, with compassion and honesty. I’ll cheer you on and also gently challenge you when you're holding yourself back.

What Therapy With Me Looks Like

From our first session, my goal is to help you feel empowered. Not with toxic positivity or surface-level advice, but with the belief that change is possible if you’re willing to put in the work. That work isn’t always comfortable. In fact, it rarely is. Change asks us to step outside of our habits, sit with discomfort, and challenge long-standing patterns. But with patience, perseverance, and practice, those new choices start to feel like second nature.

Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath the surface – what’s triggering you, where those reactions come from, and how you can begin to respond differently. You’ll learn to see that your reactions are not absolutes. They’re signals, and with the right tools, you can learn to navigate them.

I’ll help you build trust in yourself. Because at the end of the day, therapy is about you learning to trust that you can handle what life throws at you, and that you’re capable of creating something better.

Who I Work Best With

I work best with clients who are ready to take ownership of their change. That doesn’t mean you have it all figured out. But if you’re willing to be curious, to be open, to dig in and do the work, then I want to work with you.

We might not be the right fit if you’re looking for someone to wave a magic wand or confirm that nothing needs to change. Therapy is a process, and it requires active participation.

If You're Ready ...

… to stop surviving and start living with more intention and clarity, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Therapy isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. And the version of you that’s waiting on the other side of this work? They’re worth it.

Let’s start where you are and build from there.
